
Kayo Malik is a board-certified acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese Herbal Medicine at both the state and national levels. She holds the degree of Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCBAHM), reflecting more than 3,500 hours of comprehensive training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture and the application of herbal formulas.
She earned her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, graduating summa cum laude from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Her clinical training included internships with master practitioners from China, Korea, and the United States. She has also traveled to Japan and China to deepen her understanding of the origins and traditions of Oriental Medicine.
With over 35 years of experience as an herbalist, Kayo began her career as a community herbalist before pursuing formal studies in Oriental Medicine. Her work is deeply influenced by her grandmother, a village herbalist in Japan.
